I have in the past spoken to a driver who worked over in Iraq before the insurgency really took hold. The adventures he shared from watching little Iraqi children burning tires to toss under the caravans as they went by to some fool who stepped up and started throwing rocks at the tanker trucks only to be cut down minutes later by the marines protecting the caravan, were simply astounding. Forgive my nomenclature for I have not served and am only repeating a story told nearly 8 months to maybe 2 years ago to me.
So… if you are adventurous… and like to live on the wild side…. maybe a bit tamer area might be Dubai. This just in, you can drive LTL for a new service just launched by GAC. Probably good money involved.. if you can stand the away time from the family.
