While I was sleeping… Podshow + was launched. Then Adam Curry podcast about the feed hijacking controversy that ensued after its subsequent launch. Well naturally, I became curious to see what this was all about. After all, there has been some speculation as to what effect this will have on the pod-O-sphere.
I have recently had the misfortune of becoming up close and personal with a TOS (The Verizon Incident) agreement and so I started to read the fine print before I signed up for Podshow Plus. I have come to have second thoughts and am waiting to see how things pan out instead of signing in but not transfering my podcast to Podshow as Disciples with Microphones News suggested.

Not saying that Podshow is evil as would be a stance of conspiracy theorists when evaluating new companies that grow quickly to a monolithic size, but parallels can be drawn with phenomenon such as Wal-Mart and even Itunes taking a major monopolic presence in the market place. Results of such a huge influence has potentially detrimental attributes in conjunction with its inherent benefits to consumers such as Web Metrics Guru posits.

On the lighter side of critisizm comes this thought from Nicks Notes: “Too many features. Too complicated. Too much hard work. Not evil. But no fun.”
