Maintainence For The Brain
Posted by Curtis C under Science, Technology
Or Hack your brain. I have had more downtime while waiting to pick up a load and while surfing at the Flying J I came across this little wiki. The Author of this wiki has a book that is about hacking your brain. Basicly, programming for the mind. Since my dad is a sufferer of Acute Atypical Alzheimers, I have a vested interest when it comes to finding exercises that can help stimulate the mind.
I have found that just the right kind of exposure can help to condition your brain and your behaviour, though results have yet to become apparent I believe I am actually losing a bit of weight by listening to Health Hacks Podcast. Of course another portion of my body needs a bit of hacking as well. Yes, the mind is a terrible thing to waste. Will I be wise enough to make use of this little hack as well?

I’m so glad that you are feeling fitter from listening to the HHX Podcast! Tha is really gratifying to hear.
When I go brain hacking, I read O’Reilly Publishing’s Mind Hacks blog at http://www.mindhacks.com/
Have a great day!

Yes, it helps. Great work over there at HHX. I started listening from the point Chris Brogan of Fat Guy Gets Fit merged with HHX and I like where you all are taking it.
Its great to be able to hack all kinds of things! As a truck driver I usually have lots of time to listen. Of course then there is the doing part… But the body will follow if the mind leads almost as well as the mind following when the body leads.
